The popular Bondi Road strip has welcomed retail store Yellow Bungalow, which features exceptionally designed furniture and homewares along with freshly ground coffee.
Yellow Bungalow has made its home in what was previously Dominic’s Hairdressers and transformed the space to reflect its product philosophy.
Customers will find a selection of mid-century and modern furniture and design pieces in line with the store’s focus on creating shared living spaces.
Restored vintage items from Scandinavian and Australian designers feature in the store. There are also products from emerging designers and artists.
The store opens early to provide Bondi commuters and locals with their morning caffeine hit.
Owner Brad Garbutt says his store is part of Bondi’s rejuvenation and Bondi Road’s return to a shopping and entertainment hub.
“Bondi has broad appeal beyond just the beach,” he says. “A fantastic network of small bars and restaurants has opened, reflecting the fast changing local demographic, and we see yellow bungalow as a natural extension of this shift.
“We offer people the latest in furniture and design without leaving Bondi.”
