Wedgwood introduces new tea collection
Staying true to its heritage, UK lifestyle brand Wedgwood is launching a new bespoke tea range of six unique blends featuring lovely new flavours and aromas.
Curated by master tea blender and founder of multi-award winning tea company Quinteassential, Bernadine Tay, the Wonderlust Tea collection is inspired by ‘the wonders of travel, history and diverse cultures near and far in the spirit of the historical Grand Tour of Europe’.
“The Wonderlust collection speaks to me because I love travel, culture, food and each pattern tells this story,” she explains.
Blends include Crimson Jewel, Camellia, Yellow Tonquin, Oriental Jewel, Rococo Flowers and Blue Pagoda.
They are available in bespoke packages with six unique floral patterns holding pyramid teabags (fully bio-degradable) which allow the whole tea leaves to infuse and release their unique flavour and colour.
Floral patterns, an important part of Wedgwood’s heritage, are at the heart of the design. They have, over the centuries, been captured in beautiful pattern books, from traditional English garden flowers, such as Primrose and Apple Blossom to European 18th century Rococo patterns, as well as more exotic Far Eastern Chinoiserie influences.
All of these elements come together in colourful, eclectic designs across the collection which includes teacups and saucers, mugs, picture frames, gift bowls, gift trays and bespoke tea blends.
The Wonderlust Tea collection is now available.
