Incy Interiors is set to rock the industry after joining forces with rocking chair company Hobbe for a one-off collaboration.
The brands have partnered up to create a contemporary rocking chair inspired by traditional Italian design principles, making it the ultimate iconic piece.
“We wanted to create a modern-day nursing chair with a design sophistication that you would see in Milan as well as your child’s room,” says Hobbe’s managing director, Samantha Hobbelen. “It’s insanely beautiful.”
The Incy x Hobbe Blush Rocker boasts a restrained design, linearity and austerity. Featuring a clean silhouette and squared sofa shape, it is a drastic departure from the traditional wingback nursing chair you usually see in nursery rooms.
Founder of Incy Interiors, Kristy Withers, says it “provides simplicity amongst the noise”. Indeed, part of its design is the way that purely functional requirements have been made into its features. With its gentle rock and tall supportive back, the chair remains radiates ‘low-profile’ glamour.
The defining element of the chair is its tapered legs in shiny rose gold, making it a great addition to any interior. Its design makes the chair suitable for any other space, so once the chair is no longer needed in the nursery it can join you in the lounge room.
