uh-oh! debuts the hybrid sleeping bag
Just in time for Mother’s Day, mums will love this recently launched Australian designed hybrid sleeping and buggy bag from uh-oh!, which allows a baby to sleep anywhere, anytime.
uh-oh! founder Natasha Barber says the practicality and functionality of the bag makes the transition from cot to car really easy and comfortable.
“The sleeping and buggy bag keeps the baby enclosed and comfy whilst sleeping, and then free to ‘kick around’ in their buggy,” she explains. “Made from 100 per cent cotton outer and lining, each bag features a front zip with zip covers at both ends to give children the flexibility to move from peaceful to playful with one little zippy.”
uh-oh! essential collection was born 11 years ago out of a desire for fashionable, affordable and long lasting sleepwear, says Barber, who designs all products herself.
“We have been producing beautiful soft jersey cotton nightwear and baby sleeping bags since 1994, and the quality of the products is second to none.”
Barber’s other brand, Skeanie, was established in 2005 and complements the uh-oh range perfectly. After her son Hamish was born, finding high quality soft leather shoes in Australia proved to be a challenge and after two years of research and design she launched Skeanie Shoes 4 Kids.
“Skeanie shoes are made from super soft leather and feature flexible soles to ensure that little feet aren’t damaged. Skeanie is an associate partner of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW and ACT) and our classic pre-walkers have been awarded the Seal of Acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).”
Barber has just returned from exhibiting in South East Asia and is looking to expand into this area. “We received a great deal of interest from distributors in that region. At the moment we are looking at this expansion into South East Asia together with growing our product range within the Australian market.”
