Trade fair focus: Indigenous artists
Australian Indigenous art has captivated audiences both at home and overseas, however, sourcing authentic art that benefits the artists can be challenging.
Check out the brands below that are committed to supporting indigenous artists and will be showcasing their art and collections at the upcoming AGHA Melbourne Gift Fair, held from 3 to 6 August at the MCEC.
DREAMTIMEZ x Rhubee Neale
Ethical Indigenous art brand DREAMTIMEZ, located in Kaurna Country, South Australia, is dedicated to establishing sustainable income streams for Indigenous artists through royalties paid for each product sold under an Arts Law Contract.
The brand collaborates with artists to create home, fashion and gift items from their original artworks including double-sided printed silk scarves, silk ties, tote bags, printed artworks, vases, kitchenware, cushion covers, stationery and much more.
Don’t miss DREAMTIMEZ and Adelaide artist Rhubee Neale who will be demonstrating her artwork at stand 1244.

Mo Resin
Mo Resin has been working with Indigenous artists who receive royalties for their art since 2013. The family business works under licence with Warlukurlangu Art Centre and also partners with independent First Nations artists from all over Australia including Kerry Madawyn McCarthy.
Mo Resin believes that the unique process of inserting precious metal leaf enhances the spirit and vibrancy of Indigenous paintings and transforms them into beautiful wearable pieces of jewellery, a great opportunity to spread Australian Indigenous culture.
The brand will be exhibiting in the Australian Made section, stand AM5.
