The Retail Quarter is coming to Melbourne
After a successful launch in Sydney last year, Reed Gift Fairs is taking the Retail Quarter to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC) next month.
From 3 to 6 February you will find the show floor packed with a mix of fresh and unique finds together with traditional gift, homewares, fashion and jewellery brands.
The fair is divided into five quarters including Abode, Runway, Boutique, Counter and Galleria, with each category showcasing the most innovative and exciting new products, making it easier to navigate the show and ensuring you don’t miss anything.
In a constantly evolving retail landscape it is important to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments. Some of the industry’s best minds are coming together at the fair’s Retail Therapy sessions to provide education, inspiration and information―all under one roof.
Be it social media and developing your own website or crafting the perfect retail space in-store, the line-up is set to provide all the skills you need to take your business to the next level. For example, the social media boot camp by Domini Marshall offers an overview of the top social media platforms, with tips and tricks on how to tell your brand story, find your audience and post with confidence. You’ll discover tools to help you measure your progress, market effectively and manage social media with ease.
If you need help with your website then Julie Mathers’ session is the one to attend. In ‘I have a website, now what’ she shares her tips on taking the next step to getting your brand and products out there and making your website front and centre. She discusses her approach to brand, the customer, social media, Google and getting the most out of your website.
Don’t miss ‘Buying right, styling right’ by Jetona Bajram- Giummarra and Melissa Robbins, founders of The LotCo, who will guide you on how to buy better and style your product right in store. They will aim to inspire you to buy right for your customer, understand seasonal trends, make sure you offer the right variety of product and price points as well as how to showcase a hero product in store with their key merchandising tips and tricks.
This and heaps more is on offer at the Retail Quarter next month in Melbourne, an opportunity for those businesses that are looking for something a bit different.
