The Next Big Think launches notebooks
the company behind the creature comforts and addicted to face brands has added a collection of notebooks to its product offering in the lead up to christmas.
creature comforts notebooks will be available in six designs and addicted to face will come in four designs. both brands from the next big think are also available as greeting cards.
“we thought because christmas is coming up we wanted to create something that was affordable,” says david cuschieri, the next big think creative director and co-founder. “obviously a lot of people are tightening their belts this time of year, thinking ‘christmas is around the corner can we afford it?’ so creating something that’s affordable to begin with and something that people would love to receive.”
co-founder and director heidi mclachlan says the creature comforts range makes a particularly touching gift.
“we wanted to create a story in stores this christmas where customers can buy affordable heart-felt gifts,” she adds. “customers will now be able to select from a range of creature comforts gift books, greeting cards and notebooks to put together the perfect christmas gift.
“in a world dominated by the internet we wanted to provide a gift that our customers could give each other that helped them to stop for a moment in their busy days and write down what’s important to them – in keepsake of their thoughts that leaves a lasting legacy.”
cuschieri believes the addicted to face cards, which offer a quirky, humorous take on technology and social media, will suit a younger tech-savvy consumer.
“many of the comments that people post on social media would be better kept to themselves so we have created the perfect notebook for them,” he says.
the notebooks are printed on forest stewardship council (fsc) paper with either soy or vegetable based inks. a percentage of sales goes towards planting trees in madagascar.
notebooks are available october 1.
