Products in the range include a colouring book, Monster Sound Machine, erasers and pencils.
Depesche developed the range for the boys market after success with its Top Model brand, which is aimed at girls and also distributed by TAG.
“The range has wide applications across ages, as boys of all ages relate to cars and equally to art and drawing,” says Judy Brown, TAG national sales manager.
“This range is clever as it offers lots of interactive activity, allows for individual creativity whilst providing hours of fun and entertainment.
“Cars have been around for years endlessly entertaining boys. Monster Cars give the boys freedom to design their cars with lots of fun and entertainment encouraging creativity, interaction and fun,” she says.
Monster Cars is only just being launched overseas as TAG gears up for the Australian unveiling. It is expecting a positive response from retailers who have been on the search for more boys’ products.
The brand could sell out at the February gift fair as it is initially only being offered to limited customers.
