Inspired by years of decorating family dinner tables for special events such as Christmas Day meals, Libby O’Neill has launched Table Tops in a Box.
The online store features sustainable pieces crafted by a Fair Trade organisation in Indonesia. Customers can choose from three ranges and purchase items in a set or on their own.
Mix ‘n match bright features 100 per cent cotton and natural dyes and includes rope placemats and coasters and ceramic napkin rings. Simply natural is made up of dyed black rattan items and cotton table runners while simply industrial chic has aluminium dot designed round placemats and block coloured placemats.
“My sisters always used to ask me to decorate the family Christmas table as I was in a really busy management job and didn’t have time to assist with cooking the Christmas lunch often for 47 people,” she says. “I just loved the opportunity to be creative and found that it took many trips to various stores to get the right look.”
Sets come in a box with enough pieces for four people. O’Neill also offers services to decorate your dining table for a special occasion, corporate function or private dinner.
