Slick new space for ILVE Sydney
a design industry launch recently saw the unveiling of ilve’s new state of the art designer showroom in sydney’s inner west. brand evolution and an upgrade to training facilities inspired the major refurbishment.
italian designed and crafted ilve kitchen appliances are stylish and sophisticated and the new sydney showroom was designed to reflect that.
“the new environment will inspire visitors to comfortably envision the ilve products in home settings of varying styles,” said interior designer nancy renzi from renzi design.
“while reliant on a neutral palette, textural and natural elements have been used to add subtle interest and to offset the hard, cold lines of the appliances. the open space, clear glass and timber paneling add to the sense of grandeur and tradition that surround the ilve brand.”
the extensive refurbishment has seen the existing space opened up entirely, with the only partitions being glass to allow the natural light to filter through. a big change from the previous layout has purposefully left the centre vacant, easing traffic flow and affording visitors the opportunity to view the products in situ up close and from a distance.
“selecting an ilve appliance is all about letting your imagination run free and getting lost in the moment,” said daniel bertuccio from ilve marketing.
“ilve has evolved a lot over the past eight years and the time had come to create a space that is a more accurate representation of the brand and our products. we think visitors will be suitably impressed. ”
another exciting edition to the new showroom is the greatly improved, closed off training facility. housing a vast array of the latest and greatest from ilve, the fully functioning, glassed off kitchen provides the perfect environment for ilve’s hands on cooking classes and demonstrations for both prospective and existing customers.
the new look ilve showroom is open now to the public, located at 48-50 moore street in leichhardt, sydney.
