Skansen Brands to distribute anamalz
suppliers of popular australian plush collectables beanie kids, skansen brands, has acquired the anamalz brand.
the range of ethically friendly toys is well-known for its eco-credentials having won various awards.
“we are absolutely thrilled at this acquisition and excited to be working to promote anamalz’s uniqueness as well as the educational and environmental message that the range stands for,” says wayne stoll, national sales manager for skansen brands.
managing director adam schoff agrees.
“we are extraordinarily excited to have acquired the anamalz brand and have the opportunity to continue the tremendous work already undertaken by the brand’s originators, tim scott and louise causon-scott,” he says. “the anamalz brand is a perfect fit for our company and will allow us to leverage our existing structures and customer base.”
anamalz toys are made from forest stewardship council maple wood and child friendly paints. it was launched in 2007 and a year later won an australian international design award.
there are 45 characters/products in the range including a dinosaur range and a barn house.
