furniture and homewares supplier satara has expanded its product offering to include outdoor accessories.
the business approached a supplier for the products instead of designing in-house so it can test them.
“we saw a gap in the outdoor accessories area,” says owner colleen johnston. “with continued growth in the outdoor room segment we saw an opportunity to provide high quality, interesting outdoor accessories in addition to our luxury outdoor furniture ranges – teak, synthetic wicker, powder coated aluminium, fully upholstered and outdoor cord ranges.”
satara’s collection includes lava stone planters, river stone bowls, glass lanterns, vintage krupuk boxes and hand sculptured timber bowls. they are handcrafted from natural materials.
though it has offered outdoor furniture in the past it is the first time satara has supplied outdoor accessories.
“this is a completely new range of us, but having sold quality outdoor furniture for several years and knowing the segment well we believe customers, designers and retailers will embrace them vigorously.”
satara believes the range will be well received by its clients.
“if interest from the samples we had at the reed gift and hotel and hospitality trade fairs are anything to go by – the retailers and their customers will love them,” she adds.
