Retail event expands with two more projects
This year’s Online Retailer Conference & Expo will have two additions to its line-up after partnering with Remodista and NORA.
Remodista’s Women2Watch in Retail Disruption program focuses on women who are leading the way in online and brick and mortar retailing, experimenting with new ways to solve problems in operations, marketing, commerce, supply chain, logistics and globalisation.
Kelly Stickel, founder and CEO of Remodista, says she is thrilled to be expanding the Women2Watch program to include Australian leaders. “There is great innovation happening in the country and we can’t wait to share Australia’s insights with a global audience,” she says.
Remodista provides a global community for professionals to collaborate on innovative retail and technology solutions, explains Online Retailer event director, Alice Kuepper.
“We are excited to bring a new channel for global connection and recognition to Australian retailers through the partnership with Remodista and the Women2Watch program,” she says. “It will certainly elevate the event to even greater achievement heights.”
While Remodista is focused on women in business, NORA is all about the retail experience. As part of its collaboration with Online Retailer, retailers and industry representatives will experience a day-long expedition visiting two successful retail businesses in Sydney, Mon Purse and Disrupt Sports.
“NORA is deeply supportive of events like Online Retailer, which is the catalyst for all areas of retail coming together in one sizeable and dynamic event,” explains NORA chairman Paul Greenber. “The ecommerce expedition brings to life all those themes and insights of the conference at successful retailers’ facilities. It’s a great combination.”
Kuepper agrees. “The partnership with NORA on the ecommerce expeditions will greatly broaden the opportunity to learn from other successful businesses and build relationships in the industry,” she adds.
Online Retailer Conference & Expo is held in Sydney from 20 to 21 July at the Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavillion.
