Portuguese ceramic pot brand launches in Australia
Borralheira is making its debut in the Australian market with its ceramic plant pots in three new designs.
The family-owned business is known for its stoneware products that are made using locally sourced clay and a specialised in-house formulation.
The three new designs―Herringbone, Palm and Cos Bar―encapsulate the rich heritage and artistry of Portuguese ceramics and are crafted with sustainability in mind throughout the entire production process, explains Christine Abdal, national sales and marketing manager at Mayo Hardware, which distributes the brand.
“The water used in the clays and glazes is harvested from the rain and every rejected product and excess of raw material used is reintroduced in the production process to avoid waste,” she says.
“Created from high quality ceramic, all the Borralheira ranges are durable and 100 per cent waterproof, making them suitable for indoor and outdoor use.”
The Palm range is available in three sizes―14cm (RRP $13.98) 16cm (RRP $16.98) and 18cm (RRP $27.98)―and two on-trend colourways, sage green and sand.
Herringbone pot plant is available in two rich earthy tones, orange and yellow and comes in two sizes, 13cm (RRP $12.98) and 18cm (RRP $18.98), while Cos Bar pot plant range is available in classic monochromatic black and white options in two sizes, 15cm (RRP $13.98) and 18cm (RRP $18.98).
“Plants are the perfect accessory to revitalise a room or space in the home. You can experiment with striking sculptural types or soft lush leafy varieties. You can also customise the finished look to suit your space by varying your plants and adding your own personal style,” Abdal adds.
