New sustainable and ethical online marketplace launches
Born from a desire to help tackle the ever growing concerns of climate change, The Good Emporium is an online platform dedicated to deliver sustainable, ethical, and zero-waste products to a global audience.
Launched by Vinomofo’s co-founder and ex-chief executive, Andre Eikemier, the eco-friendly marketplace aims to educate consumers on the small and easy steps they can take to live more consciously, and what a massive impact they can make just by choosing to make mindful purchasing decisions.
“The Good Emporium was discussed first as an idea around our upcoming ‘2020 Year of the Planet’ campaign, launching 1 January,” he says.
“We wanted to start a movement that would encourage people to make one small change each month in their lives to live more sustainably, and create a space for consumers to come together to discuss and educate one another on how easy it is to transition to conscious living.
“From there we decided we needed to create an online platform where we can find and share beautiful products made by epic brands to help us all live a little more sustainably. And so Good Emporium was born.”
The Good Emporium is a passionate community of people who care about our planet, and have a desire to find and share beautiful products made by good brands like Huskee, The Other Straw Co, and Earth Bottles.
The platform is partnering with brands that are trailblazing the zero waste industry, and providing consumers with simple yet effective products that are helping reduce carbon emissions, landfill and ocean-bound plastics.
The Good Emporium is part of The Good Empire, an incubator of start-ups and projects for good, which was inspired by and aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
