New look for Gift HQ
Brisbane’s style and trends event for fashion, homewares and gifts, Gift HQ, has had a makeover and will be showcasing a whole new look at its next fair in July.
Besides the new look, there will also be new products, new suppliers, new features, new trends and a new educational conference.
Event organiser Fair Events’ managing director, Gary Fitz-Roy, says this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever before.
“We are excited to have a number of influential retail and industry groups on board this year―it means an even bigger and more exciting event for both exhibitors, visitors and buyers, and reinforces our ‘why go anywhere else?’ message,” he says.
Gift HQ has partnered with the National Retail Association (NRA) for its Independent Retailer’s Conference. Guest speakers will provide education and training for retailers on how to build a better business.
Returning for a third year is Today’s Living Room, run by the Queensland Decorators Association (QIDA), where decorating experts will demonstrate trends for the season. Influenced by the co-location with Design HQ there will be a strong focus on furniture, interior design and decorating.
In a Gift HQ first, visitors will be presented with a passport for which they need to collect five stamps to receive a souvenir and free coffee.
Gift HQ and Design HQ run from 9 to 11 July at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
