The world’s first two in one formula mixing baby bottle, Mixie, from Mixie Baby LLC, is now being distributed in Australia after first launching in the US late 2012.
“As we begin to build our international presence, we look forward to helping make the formula-feeding process easier and more convenient,” says Christie Nye, VP marketing at Mixie Baby LLC. “Mixie solves universal challenges for formula-fed babies, allowing parents to prepare fresh-mixed formula for hungry babies on demand or on-the-go.”
Mixie has an airtight container inside the bottle for storing formula powder, which is released into the water by pushing the button on the base of the bottle.
“Even before Mixie was widely accepted in the US, we had a tremendous amount of consumer interest coming from Australia, in addition to distribution inquiries from companies of various sizes. The fact that we didn’t have to alter our US packaging to launch in Australia made it even more attractive.”
In My Nest has been selected as the Australian distributor for Mixie.
Mixie Baby LLC is planning to continue with its mixing themed products with a new product aimed at adults to be released next year.
“MIXIT is a sports bottle for adults to use for mixing their protein shakes and diet beverages on the go. The product will be made in the US and available in the first quarter of 2014,” adds Nye.
