After recent feedback at international trade fair, Cosmoprof HK 2019, Cocco Corporation decided to expand its Maine Beach range with a new hair care line.
A first for the company, founder and director Nigel Treliving says you can’t have a complete beauty regimen without hair care, so it made sense to add it to the collection.
“We were asked by so many clients to introduce hair care products to the Maine Beach range,” he says.
“This really is a reflection of how hair care has been seamlessly added into the beauty and health routines in markets all over the world.”
The hair products have been professionally formulated by a leading hair care chemist with over 50 years’ experience in Europe and Australia. The salon quality shampoo and conditioners are perfumed with Maine Beach’s signature fragrances and are enriched with key Australian ingredients.
Wild harvested Kakadu plum extract to encourage hydration while restoring and protecting the hair and Organic Ligurian Honey to help smooth, add shine and lock in moisture. Both ranges contain Vitamin B5 which is considered to strengthen hair, help retain moisture and may improve the texture of damaged hair.
“The Maine Beach hair products have been released in two of our most popular ranges; Kangaroo Island Organic Ligurian Honey and Kakadu Plum with Wild Rosella. The packaging is consistent with our other products and we offer the items as individual 250ml tubes as well as beautifully gift boxed as the Hair Care Collection (250ml shampoo and conditioner),” explains Treliving.
As demand for Australian made products continues to increase, a trend that has been accelerated by Covid-19, Treliving says it is important to support an Australian owned business like Cocco Corporation when you can.
“We employ local people and engage other Australian small businesses wherever possible. More and more consumers are looking for truly Australian made products and our collections have been certified with Australian Made Ltd.
“For too long hair products have been limited to two ends of the spectrum―accessible supermarket brands or expensive salon exclusive brands. This range is of salon quality at a really affordable price point.”
The hair products were released to stores in mid-April with repeat orders already coming through and the company has even received requests to produce the hair products in our other fragrances.
And it doesn’t stop there for Cocco Corporation as it will be launching a new brand and range later this year.
“The new range sits in a different price point to Maine Beach and includes skincare, body care and home fragrance products. We are really excited about our launch collection, the fragrance is sublime and the products are proudly designed and made in Australia,” enthuses Treliving.
