Luxury US lighting brand lands in Australia
Wholesaler Boyd Blue is bringing luxury American lighting brand Arteriors to the Australian market, debuting with the Arteriors Australia collection.
Recently launched at the Melbourne Décor + Design trade show, the collection includes table lamps, chandeliers, sconces, glassware, mirrors, trays and sculptures.
Boyd Blue founding director Shelley Boyd says she is thrilled to bring the Arteriors range to Australian shores and believes the brand’s forward thinking yet timeless design fills a gap in the market.
“The Americans do luxury lighting so well and Arteriors is at the top of its game,” she says. “Australia has been crying out for such a range for some time now, and we now offer the largest American lighting collection available in Australia.”
In addition to securing representation of Arteriors in Australia, Boyd worked alongside its founder and creative director, Mark Moussa, to tailor the range specifically to Australian consumers.
“Mark and I have worked closely to handpick a selection of his unique designs that not only surpass anything else on offer here, but also work to comply with the rigorous Australian wiring standards,” explains Boyd. “We have invested considerable energy and resources towards this and also ensuring the smooth transfer of product from the United States.”
Moussa says he is excited to launch to a new market and grow his business outside of the US. “Working with the team at Boyd Blue is a terrific opportunity to extend our brand’s international growth to both the Australian and New Zealand marketplaces.”
