Life Instyle is bringing ‘happiness to design’ this February
Boutique trade event, Life Instyle, will once again showcase stylish new products and brands in February, with the theme this time being Happiness by Design.
Held from 18 to 21 February at Sydney’s Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavillion, retailers will be able to find thousands of new products and trends, and discover new suppliers.
Exhibition director Amelia Coote-Harris says the theme perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the event.
“It demonstrates the show’s continuing commitment to create happiness through design, and encourage people to appreciate design in their everyday lives.”
The show also named one of Australia’s styling sweethearts, Jason Grant, as the ambassador for Life Instyle Sydney. His work has appeared in a number of Australian and international magazines, and he styles for brands including David Jones, Country Road, Domayne, Myer and Officeworks. He has also published two books with a third one underway.
“We are delighted to appoint Jason Grant―interior stylist, author and creative consultant―as the official ambassador for Life Instyle Sydney. He embodies style, design and happiness and is the perfect fit for this acclaimed event,” explains Coote-Harris.
To make the most of the four-day fair, organisers have introduced the Buyer’s Guide, an online tool enabling visitors to plan ahead of the event. There is also a mobile app free to download and available for iPhone and Android users. Besides keeping buyers and suppliers updated on things like seminars and floor plans, it also enables people to connect with each other and with the guest speakers, and to create their own profiles which can be accessed by other app users.
Life Instyle has become the trade event for design-focused buyers, retailers and interior decorators who want to see the latest trends, and see and select from innovative, unique products and exclusive launches.
