Skansen Brands products, including the Beanie Kids range, are now supplied by Korimco after the two businesses signed a distribution partnership.
Korimco managing director, Andrew Casper, believes Skansen Brands is the perfect accompaniment to his other labels.
“I have always respected Beanie Kids as a great collectible soft toy brand and I felt that it would be another fantastic brand – in addition to Playgro and Nuby – to add to the Korimco sales team,” he says.
“It is quite a perfect fit as it complements Korimco’s current range and our customer base. We are all working very closely together to ensure a bright future for both companies and our customers benefit from a Korimco sales team servicing the three best Australian brands of soft toys in the Australian marketplace – Korimco, Playgro and Beanie Kids.”
Key Skansen Brands staff have joined Korimco to work on product development and help customers with the transition.
The partnership will mean enhanced product development, larger team and wider skills base due to the collaboration of personnel from both businesses.
“Our professional sales team will continue to offer the Korimco service agreement with regular store visits, however, with the addition of Skansen Brands we will be able to offer customers great new ranges, and promotional programs on a regular basis,” adds Casper.
