KitchenAid and Stephanie Alexander join forces for kitchen garden program
kitchenaid has signed off on a three-year partnership with the stephanie alexander kitchen garden program to give 250 public primary schools across australia a new empire red artisan kitchenaid stand mixer.
the national roll-out has kicked off with bondi public school and collingwood college among the first to get their mixer and training session. more than 30,000 students are involved in the program which aims to improve eating habits.
“the response from the schools so far has been magical,” says alana fletcher, communications and sponsorship manager for kitchenaid’s australia and new zealand distributor, peter mcinnes.
“eyes just light up when we present the kitchenaid and it’s so inspiring to see eight to 12 year old children use it with their kitchen specialist to create such healthy recipes. the stephanie alexander kitchen garden program is truly helping change a generation and kitchenaid is proud to be a part of it as a kitchen garden program partner.”
