In-store video players give Dreamfarm the edge
Award-winning brand Dreamfarm has supplied video players to specific retailers to help explain how its unique products work and act as an extra salesperson in store.
The devices have been well received with stock selling faster, more frequent orders and a spike in sales.
“Because our products are so different and unique to anything else on the market it can be hard to explain exactly what they do if you are just picking them up off the shelf or taking a look at the packaging,” says Alex Gransbury, Dreamfarm founder and managing director.
“We wanted to give our retailers something as innovative as our products, so we took the time to design a video player that would still work in conjunction with our products and have a small footprint when on display. You are able to stack product underneath the play so you do not lose shelf space.”
Dreamfarm has also launched two new products, Garject Lite, a lower price point and colourful version of the award-winning Garject and Onpot, a pot lid rest that directs condensation and food splatter back into the pot instead of the stove and kitchen bench.
The inspiration for Onpot came from customer demand but didn’t get the go ahead until Gransbury’s mother mentioned she was in need of such a device.
“Onpot sticks directly onto your pot lid, so that you can easily rest the lid on the edge of your pot. Onpot is available in a range of different colours which means you can allocate an individual colour to each of your pots.”
Garject Lite is a complete redesign of the original Garject because it is made with different material yet it still provides the same functions.
“Feedback from our retailers has been extremely positive; the addition of the colour range has really boosted the product’s appeal. We have also found that Garject Lite is more likely to be purchased with another Dreamfarm product because of its lower price point.”
