It looks like trade fairs are back on the agenda, with Gift & Lifestyle Melbourne going ahead this weekend and now IHGF Delhi has announced its 51st fair will go ‘back to normal’.
After two virtual editions, the fair will once again be held at the India Expo Centre & Mart from 19 to 23 May 2021.
Buyers will be able to see, feel and touch thousands of products in 14 categories including home, lifestyle, fashion, textiles, gifting and furniture from more than 1,100 exhibitors. There will also be seminars, trend areas and craft demonstrations to improve your knowledge and find out what’s hot and trendy.
Health and safety will be a top priority for visiting buyers and the organisers will do all they can to make sure everyone is comfortable visiting the fair.
“The show will be spread out with 900 permanent showrooms spread across four floors that have wide aisles and galleries,” according to organisers, EPCH. More than 1,100 booths in 14 exhibition halls will be well spread out, as aisles in halls would be wide enough to facilitate spread-out visitor traffic with one-way routes, with intervals.
“EPCH has added precaution by sectioning larger registration areas, with multiple self-registering options and e-counters, allowing distancing and facilitating ‘no touch’ smooth movement processes to be in place. There would be additional facilities like provision of left luggage sanitisation, sanitised foot mats, etc.
“Star category hotels with all standard operating procedure (SOP) pertaining to Covid compliance have been earmarked for buyers. Airport transfer and shuttles to and from the venue are also offered to them.”
