Huxter launches the perfect Christmas gift under $30
Fun-focused Australian soap brand Huxter launched lots of new products at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne recently.
The new additions include a range of hand and body products, room mists and gift tags that complement the brand’s soap designs, says Huxter founder Claudine Welsh. She has also developed a collection of stone bathroom accessories and metallic cosmetics bags.
“These are the perfect size to fit our Christmas soaps in, including some beautiful gold and silver embossed designs,” says Welsh. “Feedback we have been given is that a wrapped soap and stone soap dish will make the perfect Christmas gift under $30.”
The new products are in keeping with Huxter’s bright and colourful aesthetic and Welsh says she has been inspired in her collaborations with artists including Chloe Planinsek and Amanda Brooks, who create beautiful designs for the product packaging.
Welsh started Huxter in October 2015 with the aim of offering soaps in a range of different colours and designs that would work in a variety of retail outlets. “I have found that Huxter soaps seem to inspire store owners to get creative themselves,” she says.
“With the large variety of designs in multiple colourways available, most stores can design a selection of Huxter soaps and bathroom products to specifically suit their store.”
Although establishing efficient systems has been a challenge for the young business, Welsh is enjoying working for herself and seeing her vision come to life.
“We want to continue to expand our collections to include new products and fun new designs to keep it fresh for the retailers around Australia,” she adds.
