Hallmark launches its much-anticipated Signature collection
In today’s fast-paced digital world, handwritten cards and notes have become more a novelty than a necessity. While the end of the greeting card has been predicted more than once, a renewed focus on arts and crafts has created a surge in demand for handmade and bespoke cards.
Inspired by ‘life’s champagne moments’, Hallmark has introduced its Signature collection, which includes 90 new designs featuring intricate detailing, removable gifts, custom commissioned artwork and thoughtful messages.
Jennifer Nolch, Hallmark Australia marketing director, says that sending and receiving fashionable greeting cards is a prized form of communication as there is a high emotional connection between people when a card is both handwritten and bespoke in design.
“The goodwill gesture is valuable to the recipient because it shows thoughtfulness and effort, especially given that time is a precious commodity,” explains Nolch.
“Premium cards are likely to be showcased and kept for sentimental reasons rather than easily forgotten or deleted like e-messages.”
Each card in the collection comes with a personalised note to let friends and family know you’re thinking of them. No matter if it is a birthday, wedding, anniversary or a new baby, the range perfectly captures each person’s individual style and celebrations.
Cards are available in store now and retail from $9.99 each.
