Fresh summer range from Hunting for George
Homeware and textile brand Hunting for George is preparing for the warmer months with its new Outsiders collection, a bed linen range featuring bright and bold colours.
Designed to complement the brand’s pure cotton sateen bed linen, Outsiders includes a selection of 100 per cent cotton blankets that can be used as a single bed quilt, queen bed throw or a snuggly couch blanket.
The collection covers the colour spectrum and has been designed with four characters in mind, each with its own signature colour palette. Louie is a soft lemon citrus; Faker is a combination of apricot, purple and ivory; Benny is emerald green; and Chase packs a punch with neon pink and blue.
“We tend to refine our colour choices when designing bed linen but for this blanket collection we really wanted to have fun and experiment with the colour palette,” says Hunting for George co-founder Jo Harris.
“All these colours make us insanely happy and that’s the reaction we hope many people will have when they lay eyes on them.”
To ensure the blankets make a colourful yet calm addition to the home, Harris’ co-founder Lucy Glade-Wright says the brand deliberately kept the design simple.
“It became pretty obvious when designing this range that the hero was going to be colour. So we developed a subtle design layout to support this.
“Our structured grids add a beautiful dynamic to each blanket while also remaining uncomplicated and peaceful—everything that a home should be.”
The blankets are available now.
