French Country rebrands its candles range Scent 5
New Zealand supplier French Country has rebranded its popular candles range Scent 5. The rebranding was inspired by the marketplace and its suppliers.
When Scent 5 was launched it represented a range of five fragrances and colours, however, the brand has refined the range to three core fragrances, which also seemed a good opportunity for a rebrand, says marketing manager, Lauren Sterling.
“We wanted to keep our collection fresh and exciting,” she explains.
“The name Scent Maison was inspired by our refreshing fragrances and natural coloured candles that are perfect for everyday use in the home.”
Sterling adds that it was important for the company to maintain the value of its popular Scent 5 collection, but decided a new name that related to the old brand, but had a point of difference, was key.
“The rebrand also entailed new packaging that is sophisticated, modern and appealing. We also kept our most popular fragrances―White Tea Ginger and French Pear, with Lavender Vanilla being a new addition.
“With beautiful scents, natural tones, stunning packaging and great price points we are expecting Scent Maison to be very popular across Australia. Not only are our new candles extremely fragrant but they have a timeless distressed finish which adds interest.
“While we continue to see a lot of candles that come in jars or vessels, we still see the need for gorgeous fragrant pillar candles.”
Also newly launched are the company’s luxurious candles in copper and silver vessels with wooden lids―the perfect gift.
For next year, French Country will be adding some gorgeous limited edition seasonal and Christmas candles to the collection, says Sterling.
The Scent Maison range will be in stores from mid-November.
