Enjoy Living scooped the award for best medium stand at Reed Gift Fairs Sydney over the weekend, something the lifestyle brand certainly wasn’t expecting.
“It was a shock,” says co-founder, Lisa Carrick.
“I am thrilled for the team because it definitely takes a village to put that stand together, but under the incredible artistic direction of Wayne Morton they make magic happen every single time and we are so grateful, especially to Wayne who has been with us for years.”
At the fair, Enjoy Living launched the extended range of carefully curated Danish aesthetic pieces by Ekta Living Worldwide, which is a combination of Danish design houses including Holscher Design.
Products included a towel rack, door handles, magnetic shelves for the kitchen and pepper grinders.
“What I love about the pepper grinder, not only is it ceramic internally which is what you would expect, it has a design element that when you actually turn the pepper it spreads the ingredients without having to move it around.”
The FireKeeper from Holscher Design House, which was launched last year, attracted plenty of attention at the fair and Carrick says it is still her favourite.
“You use it to stoke the fire and you can also blow through the tube to fan the fire. But the best thing about it is how you store this. It comes with a magnetic holder that can be attached to the wall and it actually looks good displayed like that.”
