Supplier of flameless battery operated LED wax candles, Enjoy Lighting Australia, has introduced three new accents – Caribbean Sea, Passionflower, and Malibu Pink – to its palette, adding some bright and bold colours to its classic ranges.
The inspiration behind the collection draws upon Andy Warhol-style brights and exotic summer holiday travel that engages the senses, says founder Lisa Carrick.
“Enjoy’s colour palette of flameless candles has been designed to flirtatiously mix and match,” she explains. “The bold, new brights work extremely well against the existing saffron yellow or burnt sienna hues – lively tones that brighten up summer. They add bursts of bold statement colour around the home and conjure up a cheeky, exuberant spirit.
The new range was launched at Decoration and Design in July in Melbourne and received an overwhelmingly positive response – achieving almost 60 per cent sell through on the first container.
“Although our classic ivory is seen as timeless, and is a staple of our business success, our customers love our fashion forwardness and are always wanting to know what’s new. This season’s colours are fun, fresh and timely with summer fast approaching, flameless candles are now seen as a lifestyle choice rather than a trend, with their versatility adding atmospheric beauty to customers’ home, work and event environments,” Carrick adds.
Australian designed and owned, Enjoy Lighting’s flameless wax candles are exported to more than 15 countries, and will launch in the UK in late 2014. Individually handmade using virgin paraffin wax, the range is a favourite with interior designers, stylists and celebrities.
