Edge of Belgravia launches budget-conscious knife set
Designer knife brand, Edge of Belgravia, has opened its products to a wider range of consumers with the launch of Precision.
While similar in design to Edge of Belgravia’s past collections, this range is priced at $130 retail per set.
“Christian Bird, the man responsible for the maiden range of Edge of Belgravia knives, was given the brief to design, and I quote ‘the coolest knife range in the world in the budget segment’,” says Alex Wilkinson, Edge of Belgravia Australia. “Inspiration is also clearly drawn from the maiden range of knives.”
It is also the first time the brand has done a knife block, which is expected to be a kitchen centre piece.
“The release of the block is something special. The block is sold separately, however it is designed with all previous ranges in mind. The block can retrofit all Edge of Belgravia knives, as well as accommodating other knives brands.”
Edge of Belgravia’s budget-friendly range is aimed at amateur home chefs and beginner cooks. They have been popular with cooking schools as a graduation gift for students.
“The range has been well received by both retailers and consumers. The retailers are most excited by the fact that there is an aesthetically appealing knife in the budget range, whilst consumers have liked the fact a bread knife has been added to the Edge of Belgravia repertoire.”
