Wholesaler Diamond Bay Imports (DBI) has taken on distribution of unique candle brand, Alusi Candles.
Designed in Germany and manufactured in Canada, Alusi Candles are more like sculptures, and feature a multi-flame design that makes the ordinary act of lighting a candle feel like an extraordinary experience, explains DBI managing director, Mel Woods.
“Alusi transforms an age old tradition into avant-garde candle craftsmanship by melding patterns found in nature with modern art and architecture to create multi-flame candles.”
The company took on the candle brand as it enhances and diversifies DBI’s current home fragrance range, while not competing with its existing brands.
DBI launched the Alusi Candle range at the Sydney Home & Giving Fair in February, and Woods says retailers were enthusiastic about the brand’s potential.
“They were very excited about the unique properties of the Alusi Candles as well as the three colours of white, red and black. They were also attracted to the point of sale display stands.”
