Scandinavian wooden toy brand Moover Toys has appointed Danish by Design to take over its Australian distribution.
Gillian Rose, Danish by Design director, says the brand was a perfect fit for her business.
“Our focus on unique products within a category is well and truly supported by the Moover Toys concept where a flat packed timber toy is assembled without tools to become strong enough to ride on,” she says. “We stock only high quality lines where attractive and innovative design is perfectly matched by high functionality and durability. Finally the fact that Moover Toys are Danish is just perfect.”
Moover Toys has been available in Australia for three years and is stocked by bricks and mortar and online toy stores. It exports to 23 countries.

“The concept is based on child development and each product is designed for a certain age group. The walker is designed for the young child who is learning to walk, the rocking horse is safe and fun for a baby as soon as they can sit unassisted and the dump truck appeals to children aged two and over who will experience – probably for the first time – how to steer and move forward as well as reverse on his or her own.
“In terms of manufacture, all timbers are sustainable and all paints and lacquers non-toxic. All edges are rounded and the plywood is incredibly strong so the toys are durable and of heirloom calibre.
