Craft brand Dailylike launches in Australia
Local wholesaler Choki Choki has been appointed the Australian distributor for Korean craft brand, Dailylike.
Choki Choki owner, Sarah Chan, discovered the brand while on holiday and was impressed by the quality of Dailylike’s fabric stickers.
When she enquired about making an order for her stationery store she found out there was no Australian distributor and decided to represent the brand.
“The concept behind Dailylike’s collection is to help you find joy and happiness in your daily life by making DIY projects simple to do and enjoyable to create,” she says. “Everything about Dailylike is beautiful – the designs, the packaging, the quality of the product itself and the concept behind the brand.
“Dailylike are the pioneers of fabric tape and fabric stickers (A4 sheets of adhesive fabric). The quality of their adhesive fabric products is like no other, and paired with the diversity of their designs there really is nothing quite like it. Add to this the delightful mix of masking tapes, fabric, gift boxes, paper stickers, wraps, ribbons and twine, and you have a truly inspiring range of paper craft and fabric products.”
Dailylike was launched to consumers through a series of DIY workshops across Australia earlier this year. This gave people the opportunity to test out the products themselves while making calendars, notebooks and diaries.
“To say we had an amazing response is an understatement,” Chan adds. “ It was really important for us that people had the opportunity to experience our products first hand and this is exactly what the workshops provided. We had the full range of designs at participants’ fingertips and they could experiment with the Dailylike products without hesitation. I think it’s pretty safe to say that our participants fell in love with the Dailylike range, just like I did.”
Choki Choki gave retailers their first taste of Dailylike at Life Instyle Sydney earlier this month. It also distributes gongjang Greendesign Works and Moods & Views. Chan says there are a few other brands they’re hoping to launch later in the year.
