Bright Wonders has added another brand to its portfolio by signing an exclusive Australian distribution agreement with Swiss brand Trauffer.
Owner Teresa Roos says she stumbled across the brand a number of years ago, but they weren’t looking for distributors at that stage.
“After a number of discussions last year they felt the time was right to have the brand represented outside of Europe and we feel privileged to be their custodians here in Australia,” she adds.
Trauffer complements Bright Wonders’ existing portfolio. With its focus on European toys this is a perfect fit for stores to purchase either stand alone or as a complement to the company’s existing brands.
“The Trauffer range primarily consists of a series of wooden hand carved animals that you can’t help but be attracted to. They have all the elements of the traditional wooden toy from yesteryear, made from beech wood in the heart of Europe―Switzerland.
“Each animal is handmade and painted with love, which means each animal has its own uniqueness, making them special in their own right. We love them and we are pretty sure others will to which is why we added them to our portfolio of amazing products.
“I expect Trauffer will be well received in Australia. They are toys that are built to last, have true heirloom quality and really encourage imagination play,” Roos says.
Bright Wonders will launch the brand with over 50 different SKUs, providing a wide variety including animals from the farm, forest and the wild. They come in mini, small, medium and large and for most animals you can create family collections.
“We particularly love the endless opportunities for open ended play and creativity that these animals offer. They are perfect for engaging imaginations and enhancing emotional intelligence.”
The collection is available now with more stock arriving in the coming months as well as new products from existing suppliers due to hit our shores in March.
“We will have over 300 new SKUs coming this year, we are very excited and can’t wait to show you all the amazing new ranges,” enthuses Roos.
