Blue Haveli adds wholesale arm to business
Retail pop up shop Blue Haveli has moved into wholesaling to extend its aim of sharing exotic, colourful products to style homes with.
Blue Haveli supplies a range of soft homewares, clothing and accessories from artisans in third world countries. The pieces often feature hand stitching, quilting, applique and block printing.
“We launched Blue Haveli to help bring home a piece of an exotic place people may simply dream about – what we dream about too,” says Amr Radwan, Blue Haveli owner. “We believe that the most beautiful interiors are created by an expression of individual style and flair. We want to encourage people to channel their inner stylist and experiment with pieces that they really love, don’t be limited by conventional ideas, matching pieces or colour schemes. It is time to have some fun.”
The Blue Haveli store in Paddington, Sydney has allowed the business to help refine its product selection by understanding what people are looking for in homewares.
“Starting with a pop up allowed us to meet our consumers face to face, and engage them in discussing how to explore the array of exciting and unusual home décor items from some of the most magical places in the world, inviting them to create their own unique and personal style, and in the process validating our choices of colours, styles and ideas.”
Blue Haveli made a successful trade fair debut at Home & Giving Sydney with retailers appreciating their fresh approach, colour and style.
“We are looking for retailers who share our passion for making homes beautiful, tasteful, colourful, and welcoming,” Radwan adds. “We sure have found a few already from the fair, and we look forward to working with them to give end consumers beautiful pieces for their homes.”
