European children’s product wholesaler, BeesKnees Imports, has signed on as the exclusive Australian distributor for German craft brand PlayMais.
The brand offers craft and activity sets made from natural maize, water and food colouring. Children can make 2D and 3D designs without glue, just a bit of water.
PlayMais, approached BeesKnees Imports directly to grow the brand’s presence in Australia as it expands internationally.
“We have been amazed by the virtually unlimited possibilities PlayMais offers,” says Antje Kaldor, BeesKnees Imports director. “It provides such a great outlet for a child’s creativity and appeals to a wide range of ages.
“The fact that it is completely natural, safe and 100 per cent biodegradable makes it a real standout in the craft market. The range of different product designs and the packaging are outstanding too.”
BeesKnees Imports launched the products at the Sydney Home and Giving Fair at Sydney Showgrounds in February. It will also have the product on display at the Australian Toy, Hobby and Nursery Fair this month.
