Aussie toy company introduces new plush Care Bear
Launching this month as part of Care Bears 40th anniversary celebration is special new addition, Care-a-Lot Bear.
Available in a cuddly plush through toy company Headstart International, CEO Andrew Hendy says the company is excited to be part of collection.
“We are proud to join Care Bears as they celebrate 40 years of sharing and caring and to introduce Care-a-Lot Bear to Australian Care Bears fans,” he enthuses.
“With her bright colours and special Care-a-Lot Castle belly badge, she inspires us to take care of our community through kindness and joy—a message we’re excited to spread with the release of the Care-a-Lot Bear plush.”
The Care Bears were first introduced in 1982 through consumer products, greeting cards and later a series of animated television shows and feature films, and quickly became one of the most popular and endearing children’s items in the world.
Care-a-Lot Bear is also set to be featured in clothing, toys and more from July.
“With our core group of key characters such as Cheer Bear, Grumpy Bear and Funshine Bear, and the introduction of newer characters like Care-a-Lot Bear, the Care Bears continue to share their universal message of sharing and caring and explore relevant themes and topics with their fans,” Kristeen Tibbits, head of marketing at Cloudco Entertainment, says.
“Without a doubt, the world is a better place thanks to the Care Bears and their messages of love, hope and happiness. We look forward to seeing what new adventures the next 40 years bring.”
