Aussie homewares brand launches e-commerce site
Family-owned business Lorraine Lea is branching out and expanding its presence as an omni-retailer by introducing an online channel.
The timing couldn’t be more perfect with more businesses moving online due to Covid-19 and its effect on the retail industry.
Founded over 30 years ago as a party plan linen company, Lorraine Lea products traditionally could only be purchased exclusively through home-styling events. Today, the brand offers a wide range of affordable homewares including bedlinen, bedding products, towels and bathroom wares, cushions, throws, baby and children’s bedding.
Lorraine Lea CEO, Anne Petracca, says the modernising move is an important step forward for the company.
“We are excited to share our huge range of quality, accessible homewares in a new way,” says Petracca.
“From those who prefer a traditional design style to those that are looking to explore the latest interior trends, there’s something for everyone at Lorraine Lea.”
The brand’s online shopping website is the retailer’s first foray into the e-commerce market. Whether customers prefer the personalised attention of home styling events or the convenience of online shopping, the online site provides a quick and easy way for customers to decorate their home with products they’ll love.
“This next phase will see us reach a wider global audience and extend our core offering,” adds Petracca.
The new e-commerce site is now live at lorrainelea.com
