Aussie brand collaborates with Shanghai-based store
Bondi Wash is launching an exclusive home care collection in partnership with luxury concept store Beast.
The collaboration merges the two founders’ shared vision for a world in which florals and fragrance are naturally integrated into everyday life.
“Earlier this year, I met Beast founder and creative director, Amber Shang, while visiting our team in Shanghai,” says Bondi Wash founder, Belinda Everingham.
“I’d long admired the beautiful stores Amber and the team have curated with their incredible displays of vibrant flowers alongside incredibly high-quality homewares. We connected over our shared love of botanicals and fragrance and naturally the idea of a collaboration came about.”
Together, the founders have designed a co-branded collection of premium home care products called Scent 17, which includes laundry wash, delicate wash and mist spray.
“The collaboration includes a new collection of Bondi Wash home and laundry care products in a new scent, Osmanthus Eucalyptus. It was designed with the idea of bringing little bursts of fragrant pleasure into daily life.
“The design process was very collaborative with input from both our design teams in Australia and China. The collection is made in Australia like all Bondi Wash products.
“The fragrance came together quite organically, combining two iconic scents, Eucalyptus and Osmanthus, that we both love. We then layered these two scents with top, middle and base notes including jasmine and vanilla, to create a beautifully balanced perfume,” Everingham adds.
Scent 17 was created to elevate everyday washing in the home and to carry this experience throughout the day.
“So far people really love the fragrance. It is our most floral scent and a wonderful one for spring. We’ve had customers asking for new fragrance in our laundry collection for a while, so I think there will be a lot of excitement.
“The collection is limited-edition at this stage, but we’ve already had requests to bring the fragrance into our body range—watch this space.”
The new range is available now.
