Are you looking for free business advice?
Reed Gift Fairs is pulling out all the stops this August for the upcoming Melbourne Gift Fair, by partnering with Small Business Victoria.
The gift fair is one of the largest and most important events for retailers, designers, buyers and sellers―it’s a place of business, creating leads, connections and sales. In addition to showcasing a large selection of brands and products, there is also a strong focus on education.
This year educational sessions will be complemented by the presence of Small Business Victoria’s Small Business Bus. On site at the Melbourne Showgrounds, the traveling ‘office on wheels’ will offer free business advice via the small business mentoring service.
Event director Vicki Rossi says Reed Gift Fairs is delighted that Small Business Victoria has chosen to partner with them.
“We strive to provide an environment and forum that enables retailers to immediately better and benefit their businesses, and the on-site support from the Small Business team will undoubtedly enable them to do just that.”
Victoria’s Minister for Small Business, Philip Dalidakis, will attend the fair on Monday 6 August, and says Reed Gift Fair Melbourne “gives small local businesses another platform to show off the diverse and high-quality products Victoria is renowned for”.
The collaboration will also see a selection of indigenous Australian-owned businesses showcase their products such as Aboriginal giftware, souvenirs and products reflecting the Aboriginal culture of south-east Australia from companies including Koorie Circle, Yarn Strong Sista and Ngarga Warendj – Dancing Wombat.
Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne is held from 4 to 8 August at Exhibition Pavilion, Melbourne Showgrounds and Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
