Miniland Dolls have won the top prize again voted for by the Spanish Association of Toy Manufacturers.
Well-known for its inclusivity and diversity, the Miniland Dolls collection with eco-friendly clothes has been awarded Best Toy to Promote Equality.
“This new award is especially meaningful to us because it acknowledges the importance of inclusion and diversity in toys,” says Paula Opfer, co-director of Axis Toys, which distributes the Miniland brand in Australia.
“We believe that all children deserve to see themselves represented in the products they use and we are committed to promoting toys that are inclusive and diverse.”
Miniland has been collaborating with parents, educators and children for more than 50 years to help families and educators connect, realise and integrate all the talent and potential of children by highlighting the importance of play in their learning.
This latest award adds to the silver medal in the diversity and inclusion category awarded to the Miniland Dolls with hearing implants two weeks ago at the Play for Change Awards and the Best Toy of 2020 Award for the Miniland Dolls with Down Syndrome.
