Ecoya moves into kitchen and laundry
Known for its candles and diffusers, fragrance brand Ecoya has branched out into the kitchen and laundry categories with its latest releases.
On display at Reed Gift Fairs Melbourne, a lot of people hadn’t had the chance yet to see the new ranges in person, says Ecoya’s Leanne McKay.
“The fair has been great, retailers were really positive, vibrant and excited by al the inspiration that they were seeing,” she enthuses.
“We haven’t been at a fair since 2018—we did private showings in 2019—so it has been great to reconnect with the retailers we haven’t seen for a while and to showcase all of our new products.”
Made from plant-based formulations, the Kitchen collection is vegan friendly and free from parabens, propylene glycol, silicone and artificial colours.
Two exclusive new fragrances were created specifically for the kitchen range including Juniper Berry & Mint and Tahitian Lime & Grapefruit, available in seven products including a new fragranced dish liquid refill.
All products are designed in New Zealand and handcrafted in Australia.
“The Kitchen collection is all plant-based product, while laundry is all about bringing that sense of fragrance to those mundane areas in our home.
“We also introduced our new Holiday collection and some new limited edition body care,” McKay adds.
Buyers flocked to the Ecoya stand during the five days of the fair. “The weekend was massive, really busy. Monday and Tuesday were also busy but more with corporate buyers and larger retailers.
“Most retailers had travelled from interstate, so we have had a contingent from every state across Australia and we also had some from across the Tasman come from New Zealand.
“A lot of our existing customers stopped by the stand, but we also had new prospects visit us as well. We are really pleased with the numbers.”
