A5 sized cards & notebooks from Me and Amber
Best friends Karen and Amber started their company in 2004 to create simple and beautiful screenprinted products that help people make meaningful connections in a digital age.
Launching at Life Instyle last weekend, Me and Amber introduced its latest collection of Australian made greeting cards and notebooks, which are screenprinted by hand, one at a time, in their Sydney studio.
The duo is excited about this latest range as the cards are A5 size, so larger than a standard card and are a gift and card all in one.
“Often people tell us that they’ve framed one of our greeting cards, which is pretty special, as cards are often just read and recycled,” says Amber.
“We love the idea that a card can be used beyond its initial function…cards are sentimental and it’s meaningful that this sentiment, passed from one person to another, can become part of someone’s home.”
Me and Amber has also added notebooks to this collection and Karen and Amber are thrilled with the results.
“Like all our work, they are proudly made in Australia,” explains Karen. “This is really important to us as we believe in supporting local business. From an environmental perspective, we don’t want to freight goods halfway around the world, so producing locally just makes sense on every level.”
The notebooks contain 60 pages on 100 per cent recycled paper and retail for a recommended $15.95. The A5 sized cards each come with an envelope and retail for $12.95.
