Town & Country Style launches showroom markets
Customers will be able to pick up some real bargains when Town & Country Style transforms its showroom into a flea market next month.
The Melbourne-based wholesaler is selling its range of vintage props in a one day only event after years of requests from interior designers and stylists.
To be held on Friday 3 May 2013, its High Street Armadale showroom will also have a Marie Antoinette tea party spread.
“For years customers have loved our vintage merchandise and wanted to buy items to copy our displays for their homes,” Town & Country Style’s Suzette Kallergis says.
“The aim of the flea market is to make these items available for sale and to give people ideas on how to recreate these displays in their own homes.”
Kallergis says there will be five or six displays, each with a colour theme and all showcasing a unique display for a different part of the home.
“If people want to copy the display, all the items will be available for purchase, where we can also provide styling advice.
“Our counter will be set up as a gorgeous display of tea and cupcakes hence the theme – Marie Antoinette invites you for tea,” she explains.
People who register on Town & Country Style’s Facebook page or email Town & Country direct will receive a voucher for free tea and cake and a special Town & Country Style show bag.
Coveted items for sale will include vintage telephones, typewriters, suitcases and aged music sheets along with books, cutlery, tea cups and sauces, birdcages, brass scissors and cotton reels. Prices start at $5 per item.
