Just in time for Mother’s Day, Brisbane-based stationery company Blushing Confetti has introduced its autumn/winter 2017 collection.
The range includes more than 30 new additions such as luxury cards and desk essentials. When creating the stationery items, owner and designer Ellen Powell drew on winter hues of navy, burgundy and blush with rose gold accents and more-than-relatable copy.
Powell believes giving a card for Mother’s Day is so much more special than people might realise.
“Nothing says I appreciate you more than a handwritten card, particularly one with humour that sums up your relationship with your mum,” she explains.
“We live in such a digital age, where writing a hand written note is a rarity. Go back to basics this Mother’s Day and dedicate just five minutes to writing her something special that will tick the box for even the woman who has it all.”
The new Blushing Confetti card range pairs quotes such as ‘I love the shit out of you’ and ‘You swear too much, drink too much and say inappropriate things…that’s why I love you’, with luxury fine paper and gold and copper foiled calligraphy.
Other items in the range include gift tags, double-sided gift wrap, daily list pads and memo pads, notebook sets, planners, journals and rose gold foiled art prints. Prices start from $6.95.
