Check out the latest digital edition of Australian Giftguide
The April-June issue of Australian Giftguide is now digital and as always features lots of new products, great reviews, trade fair reports andinformative articles, as well as additional interactivity including image galleries and hyperlinks for added value.
If you are looking for new products for your store then you can’t miss this issue. Firstly we have a trends report with Press Loft, which tells us what’s trending and what to keep an eye out for in the gift and homewares industry―the Nordic style is still going strong.
The trade fairs give a great indication of what’s new, what’s hot and what’s not in home and gifts. We scoured the stands at Reed Gift Fair, the Australian Gift and Homewares Association’s Home & Giving and Life Instyle Sydney recently to bring you three trends customers will be asking for this season. We also feature a trade fair report on Frankfurt fair Ambiente, telling us what is trending overseas and what to expect later in the year.
In this edition store owner Terri Winter shares some simple tips for retailers to pass onto their customers. She says providing helpful guidance to your customers can make you a valuable resource to them, and one they will turn to when they are ready to purchase items for their decorated spaces. We also profile Sutherland Shire based store ur place, where everything is black, white and grey ranging from the products to the custom-made counter.
The gia Awards were held in March in Chicago and Australia was represented by retailer Pigeonhole. While owner Johann Kim just missed out on the global award, you can read all about his gia experience in this edition of Giftguide as well as a quick introduction to the five overall winners.
Once again we have our category reviews where we take an in-depth look at candles & lighting, cookware, eco products, and collectibles & figurines. We have also selected the best products for your stores, which you can find in our regular sections, with our seasonal selection this issue being Father’s Day.
