Zomlings arrive in Australia
Global Discovery, which distributes popular toy brands including Sea Monkeys and DigiBirds, is bringing Zomlings to Australia.
Already popular in the UK and Europe, the miniature collectible monsters will hit retail shelves in the next few months with more than 100 figurines for children to collect and build into their own Zomlings Town.
Kids can create an entire Zomlings world, with seven neighbourhoods including Wacky Waters and Zomlings Zoo. Rare silver and gold characters will also be available, as well as special Adventure Zomlings for children to try and discover.
Global Discovery launched the new range at the Australian Toy, Hobby and Licencing Fair this March, and director Heath May is sure they will be a hit.
“We are very excited to be launching Zomlings into the toy market,” he says. “With its proven success around the world, we expect Australia will have the same demand.”
The arrival of Zomlings to the Australian market will be supported by a heavyweight TV advertising campaign to ensure the little monsters are the talk of the playground.
