Iittala is the latest brand to be added to WWRD’s extensive portfolio as the company takes on distribution of the iconic brand in Australia and New Zealand.
Iittala began as a glass factory in Finland and has grown into a brand that aims to create products that enrich people’s lives. The brand believes objects should be distinctive, combinable and multifunctional which fits perfectly within WWRD’s ethos and values for quality, aesthetics and functionality.
“We are thrilled to announce that WWRD will be responsible for the distribution of the Iittala brand in Australia and New Zealand,” says WWRD sales and marketing director, Georgina Garrity.
“It’s an alignment that we feel will give Iittala the platform to strengthen its success and enhance the visibility and availability of this iconic brand. Iittala is a fantastic addition to the WWRD portfolio of luxury home brands.”
WWRD―now part of the Fiskars Group― manufactures, distributes and sells brands including Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Royal Albert, and Johnson Brothers.
Iittala will be available from April 2016.
