Woll Concept Plus cookware honoured with design awards
Despite only being available in Australia for a few months the Woll Concept Plus range has already been honoured with three awards.
This year the product has won Kitchen Innovation of the Year 2014 and the iF Product Design Award 2014. It also received an International Home & Housewares Innovation Award 2013.
Woll’s Australian distributor VGM International believes the Concept Plus range has been such a high achiever because of its level of innovation.
“The Concept Plus range combines the Diamond Plus body with a brand-new, innovative glass and silicone lid concept,” says Anna Millington, VGM International marketing manager. “This high-heat resistant lid allows for various functionalities, including steam-release, drainer and stand-up (no drip) lid. The range also includes Woll’s first cookware accessory – the multifunctional silicone strainer. This strainer can be used in no less than eight different ways.”
VGM International is particularly proud to see the product win an iF Product Design Award. “With more than 2,000 product entries from around 37 nations and judged by renowned experts, these awards are hard to come by and are internationally recognised as a seal of innovation and quality.
“These awards guarantee, to the utmost scrutiny, the quality, innovation and high standard of the product. Thousands of products are submitted each year, going on to be analysed by numerous judges with years of experience and from an array of background from design experts, star chefs, architects, to engineers.”
